Regalis means royal, and represents our heritage. The 12-pointed Royal Stag crest of The Dalmore dates back to 1263, when the Chief of the Clan Mackenzie bravely saved King Alexander III of Scotland from the fury of a charging stag. At The Dalmore, we believe that ‘fortune favours the brave’ and this proved to be true for the Clan Mackenzie, who were given three rewards by the grateful King, including the right to use this noble emblem in their coat of arms.
