La Crema was founded in 1979. La Crema's vinyards are all harvested by hand in the cool, morning hours. Winemaking techniques are primarily traditional with modern enhancements to ensure that the wines are true to both the varietal and the terroir. The Chardonnays are whole-cluster pressed and fermented and aged in French oak on lees with bi-monthly battonage to add texture and complexity.
Apricot, lemon, Gala apple, subtle oak and spice aromas. Lemon drop, white stone fruit, yellow plum and Galia melon flavors. Richly textured, and concentrated with a balanced acidity that drives a lingering finish.
