Using Verdejo grapes from 40-year-old wines. The low yield gives the wine a greater aromatic complexity. The wines remain fresher and more drinkable than the more conventional Rueda Verdejo wine.
Taste:
Greenish-yellow colour. Marked Verdejo aroma with a medium intensity and hints of fennel, herbs, white blossom, pear and peach. Fresh, eager, very smooth mouth-feel, with a long, round finish. Elegant and complex character. These are wines which can still be enjoyed even 24–30 months after the harvest. Pairs well with fish, shellfish, white meat, ham, pasta, chicken and cold cuts. Best served at between 8°C and 10°C
