Introducing a new style of whisky for a new kind of whisky drinker. Inspired by our own Malt men who still turn the malting barley by hand, Monkey Shoulder is blended from three of Speyside’s finest single malts resting in first fill bourbon casks. Each batch is made by using just 27 casks carefully selected by our Malt Master, Brian Kinsman. Unlike traditional blends, Monkey Shoulder is made from 100% malt whisky (not a drop of grain whisky in there) resulting in an exceptional creation.
Nose: Delicate floral notes intertwined with zesty citrus orange & soft fresh fruits (peach & apricots). Hints of honey & spicy oak with rich vanilla sweetness Taste: Beautifully sweet & rich vanilla. Brown sugar & creamy toffee balanced with oak notes & just a hint of spice Finish: Exceptionally smooth with a lingering sweetness
