Produced in limited quantities, the Réserve Mouton Cadet range comes from six prestigious Bordeaux labels, all of them known for their charm and quality. These wines are typical of their geographic origin, and have been created to enable the discovery and appreciation of the different facets of the superlative Bordeaux terroir. Réserve Mouton Pauillac reveals black fruits, toasted notes and a nice length.
Colour: a lovely intense purple. Nose: complex and intense, the nose reveals jammy blackcurrant and cherry aromas and also displays great intensity on notes of leather, toast and vanilla. Palate: very round, with rich and powerful flowers, the wine opens on black cherry and ripe damson, followed by liquorice and mild spice and ending on a touch of black coffee. Very long on the palate, this is a complex and harmonious wine with excellent ageing potential. Menu suggestions: roast lamb, cep mushrooms, venison stew. Serving temperature: 18–19°C.
