The Wittmanns and their ancestors have been winegrowers in the old market town of Westhofen since 1663. Of course, the length of an estate’s viticultural tradition doesn't necessarily say anything about the quality of its wines. But perhaps it does say something about the strength of the bond formed with the land the wine is nurtured on. Since 1990 we have cultivated our vineyards according to ecological guidelines and, since 2004, according to strict biodynamic principles. By doing so we know our soil will remain fertile and healthy for future generations too.
