SCHLOSS GOBELSBURG is one of the oldest wineries in the Kamptal valley and can trace its winemaking history back to the 12th century. As early as 1171, Cistercian monks were granted their first vineyards in the prime locations of Heiligenstein and Gaisberg. Today, the winery is renowned for wines from the Danube region as well as specialities such as sparkling, red and sweet wines. It also specialises in traditional winemaking methods, which are reflected in the TRADITION range.
