Made from old vines with very restricted yields, this is the top wine from the Marqués de Cáceres stable. A blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Graciano, it is aged in the best French oak barrels for 18 months, then for a further two years in bottle before release.
Colour: Cherry red, garnet rim Aroma: fleshy, spicy, powerful structure, creamy oak, complex, ripe fruit Taste and finish: powerful, long, toasty; pleasant fullness and round tannins. Drinking temperature: 16–18°C. Ideal with grilled, roasted meat and fine cheeses.
