Responsible Choice
Responsible Choice is an information and product identification system developed by Gebr. Heinemann. Products are assessed against a defined catalogue of criteria covering specific product attributes and certifications. The attributes that apply to a product are displayed on the product page.
The attributes shown are based on product-specific information, documentation, or certifications provided by the manufacturers. They describe individual characteristics and do not constitute an overall assessment of a product’s environmental, social, or quality performance.

B Corp
The manufacturer of this product holds a valid B Corp certification from B Lab, an independent non-profit organization that assesses and certifies companies against high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

This product or its ingredients are certified as organic under at least one of the following standards: Australian Certified Organic, BDIH/COSMOS Organic, Bio-Siegel, Cosmebio/COSMOS Organic, Ecocert/COSMOS Organic, EU Organic logo, ICEA/COSMOS Organic, JAS Organic, NASAA Certified Organic, NATRUE Organic, Natural Cosmetics Standard – Organic Quality, NCCO, Soil Association Organic or USDA Organic.
Biobased Materials
This product contains at least 50 % bio-based material derived from renewable biological sources, such as castor oil-based polymers, paper and cardboard, and natural rubber.
Lightweight Bottle
This bottle meets the applicable weight limit for its volume: no more than 330 g for 0.5 L, 450 g for 0.7 L or 650 g for 1.0 L.
Purely Essential Ingredients
This product does not contain any ingredients that are excluded under our defined criteria beyond applicable EU legal requirements. A list of excluded substances can be provided upon request.
Fair
This product or its manufacturer is certified or recognised under at least one of the following standards: Fair Wear Foundation, Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Fairtrade, Grüner Knopf, Responsible Jewellery Council, Fairtrade International, Rainforest Alliance, Fair for Life or World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO).
Refills or Refillable
This product is offered as a refill, or its packaging can be refilled using a refill product designed for this purpose.
Reduced-Material Packaging
The packaging meets at least one of these criteria: at least 95 % paper or cardboard, at least 50 % recycled material, at least 95 % natural fibres such as cotton, linen or hemp, or no packaging.
Paperbased Packaging
This packaging consists of at least 95 % paper or cardboard.
Recycled Material
This product consists of at least 50% recycled material.
Animal Material
The animal-based materials used are certified under at least one of the following standards: Responsible Down Standard (RDS), Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS), Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS) or Leather Working Group (LWG).
Vegan
This product is completely free of animal products and derivatives, both in its ingredients and packaging.
