Dr. L Riesling embodies the elegant and racy characteristics the slate-soil Mosel vineyards. The Mosel’s steep, south-facing slopes create the perfect climate for Riesling, giving the vines ideal exposure to the sun. Generally cool conditions allow the grapes to ripen slowly while retaining acidity. This produces vibrant wines that capture the strong minerality of the soil. Winemaker Ernst Loosen is also one of Germany's most respected wine personalities.

Dr. L Riesling erinnert an einen Spaziergang durch einen Obstgarten im Spätsommer: Pfirsich und Apfel Aromen mit der süß-herben Note des reifen Obstes kurz vor der Ernte. Am Gaumen ist der mittelkräftige Wein erfrischend und saftig, mit einem knackigen Finish. Er ist hervorragend zu asiatischen gerichten, vor allem, wenn sie sehr pikant sind. Zwischen 45-50°F (7-10°C) servieren.
