The heart of the Fontanafredda M.G.A. is home to Fontanafredda’s most representative and historicalvineyard. Planted by request of Rosa Vercellana, after whom it is named, it is no mere coincidence that this strip of land, rich in sand, limestone and the characteristic blue marl of Serralunga, is filled with floral scents reminiscent of roses. A full body, long finish and warm Barolo.

Barolo mit rubinroter Farbe und Granatreflexen. Der Duft ist breit, sanft, aber intensiv, mit klaren Andeutungen getrockneter Rose, Veilchen, Tabak, Unterholz und leichte Vanille. Im Mund ist die Textur der Tannine dicht. Der Anfang ist fast weich samtig und explodiert dann in einem ausgewogenes Fruchtgefühl mit säuerlicher Frische. Der Nachgeschmack ist sehr lang und reich im Geschmack.
