Winemaker Bertus Fourie earned the nickname ‘Starbucks’ for his exceptional skill in producing the coffee-flavoured Barista Pinotage. The term Barista refers to people who are skilled in the art of making espresso-based coffees, so naming our unique Coffee Pinotage ‘Barista’ was most appropriate, paying homage to the exquisite coffee flavours of our Pinotage. Building on this success, Bertus has now literally splashed out with the delicious Barista Chardonnay and its citrusy notes.
