Heinemann x ME Lottery 2024 - Terms and Conditions

1. The organizer of the prize draw is Gebr. Heinemann SE & Co. KG, Koreastrasse 3, 20457 Hamburg, Germany (hereinafter referred to as HEINEMANN).

2. All participants in the Heinemann x ME program (hereinafter referred to as Heinemann x ME members) are eligible to take part. HEINEMANN employees and their relatives as well as employees of involved service providers are excluded from participation in the prize draw. 

3. Seven travel vouchers with a total value of €50,000 will be drawn in the following order: one voucher worth €15,000, one voucher worth €10,000, and five vouchers worth €5,000 each. 

4. Every Heinemann x ME member who has registered online for the prize draw and agreed to receive the newsletter can take part in the draw. Ways to register for the prize draw are the following: as part of a new registration at our locations in Germany, Hungary, Italy, Austria, and on cruise liners or in the course of sending the ticket number by email following a purchase at one of the locations in Germany, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Australia, or on cruise liners. In addition, every member who is already a Heinemann x ME member on October 1, 2024, will receive an initial prize draw registration email, enabling them to register for the prize draw. Each member may only register for the prize draw once.

5. The seven travel vouchers will be drawn among those Heinemann x ME members who meet the requirements for participation in the prize draw under point 4 and have made at least one purchase as a Heinemann x ME member at the participating airports in Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Denmark, Australia, on cruise liners, or at heinemann-shop.com, taxfree-heinemann.dk, or heinemann.com.au by December 31, 2024. This applies to products that qualify for bonuses and allow you to collect points. Excludes tobacco products, Apple products, shopping bags, deposits, newspapers, magazines, and books.

6. Each purchase represents a ticket number. You can only receive one ticket number per day. Multiple purchases on different days increase the probability of winning. 

7. The ticket numbers are automatically sent to the participating Heinemann x ME member, with the consent to receive advertising, by email after each purchase. In addition, each participant will receive an email providing an overview of all ticket numbers at the end of the promotion. Every purchase made during the period of the prize draw counts, regardless of when registration for the prize draw under point 4 took place. If purchases have already been made as part of the Heinemann x ME membership before registering for the prize draw, you will only receive the ticket numbers for these purchases after the end of the promotion in an email providing an overview of all ticket numbers. In the case of a new registration for Heinemann x ME, the purchases only count from the date of membership. 

8. All participants who have not won will receive a thank-you voucher of 10% or 5% for Australia after the end of the promotion.

9. The closing date for participation is December 31, 2024 (11:59 p.m. CET). The winning ticket numbers will be determined by January 9, 2025. HEINEMANN will then notify the winners by email. Notification of the prize will be sent to the email address stored in the Heinemann x ME account or alternatively specified in the entry form.

10. Each winner must inform HEINEMANN by January 24, 2025, stating their postal address and whether they accept the prize (voucher). After this deadline, the possibility of accepting the prize expires. In this case, HEINEMANN will raffle off the respective prize elsewhere.

11. The prize will be sent by post to the address provided when the prize was accepted.

12. A cash payment in the value of the prize is not possible. The vouchers are not limited in time, cannot be paid out (including remaining amounts), and cannot be transferred to third parties. Each voucher can only be redeemed once for one trip. The voucher code may not be used for multiple bookings. In the event of loss, there is no entitlement to a replacement. The voucher cannot be combined with other promotions. The voucher cannot be applied to existing trips or retroactively. Only one voucher can be redeemed per travel booking, regardless of the number of travel participants. Travel bookings can only be made through the Hamburg travel agency Contiways (Koreastrasse 5, 20457 Hamburg, Germany). Contiways will be available to the winners for detailed planning of the trip.

13. HEINEMANN reserves the right to exclude participants from taking part in the prize draw. This applies, in particular, in the event of culpable breaches of these terms and conditions of participation or in the event that participants manipulate or attempt to manipulate the participation process or the prize draw or use other dishonest means.

14. HEINEMANN reserves the right to cancel or terminate the prize draw at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies, in particular, if proper implementation cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons. In such a case, the participants are not entitled to any claims against HEINEMANN.

15. The prize is only valid to the extent specified by HEINEMANN. HEINEMANN accepts no liability for damages that may arise in the course of claiming the prize. HEINEMANN is not liable for travel defects and/or shortcomings, in particular not for any claims due to uselessly spent vacation time.

16. HEINEMANN processes participants’ personal data for the purpose of holding and executing the prize draw, for statistical evaluations, and to identify breaches of these terms and conditions of participation (e.g. multiple entries). 

17. Should a provision of the terms and conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid or missing provisions shall be replaced by the relevant statutory provisions.

18. The prize draw is subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.

19. Legal recourse is excluded.

20. The processing of the data can be objected to at any time with effect for the future. The data will not be passed on to third parties. Once the above-mentioned purposes have been fulfilled, the data will be deleted at the earliest possible date.
