This wine has become the image of the changes in Sicilian wine. This grape was born from the wish to successfully compete with the rest of the world. After a long journey, which began in 1985 and has been full of surprises and successes, Planeta Chardonnay is an icon for the whole of Sicily today. The vines of Ulmo and Maroccoli which produce it are unique in their location and terrain. Calculated and careful fermentation and maturation in French wood produce a wine that is unique in grace and power.
