Sie gibt Weinen eine reiche Farbe, gute Säure, eine schöne Tiefe und einen kraftvollen Charakter. Dieser Wein enthält 35% Petit Verdot, außergewöhnlich viel, ohne Zweifel der höchste Prozentsatz aller Margaux-Weine. Die Sichel-Familie ist seit 1883 in der Weinbereitung in Bordeaux tätig und seit fast einem Jahrhundert in der Appellation Margaux etabliert.
