Wine has always been a part of Esterhazy: the first evidence dates back to 1652. We have been cultivating our vineyards organically for some time: we have been converting to organic since 2019, and this will be completed with the 2023 vintage. We use “gentle pruning” to get the best possible sap flow in the vines. Wood from our own forests is increasingly being used in the cellar and we are happy to try out alternative containers and aging methods for our project wines.

Pinot Blanc
Allergens: Contains sulphites
Intense straw yellow. Herbal notes of fennel and chervil dominate on the nose, along with lime blossom and subtle citrus and yellow apple aromas in the background.Pinot Blanc is considered a universal food companion due to its rather neutral varietal character. The intense herbal spice that distinguishes this Pinot Blanc from its conventional counterparts makes it ideal for more strongly spiced dishes such as curries or light game dishes.
