For over 200 years, the Glenlivet has continued to challenge the conventions of whisky-making, always pushing the boundaries in pursuit of creating single malts of the highest quality. This time, masters of their craft have come together to take the whisky experience to a new level: perfectly crafting two casks into one, a feat of originality. Allied with our cask experts, the master coopers in Jerez, Spain have hand-selected the finest ex-Spanish sherry and freshly charred European oak casks; these casks were deconstructed and intricately recrafted – alternating stave by stave. A portion of the whisky is then selectively finished in these reconstructed casks, bringing new depths to the interplay of flavours.

NOSE Ripe pears and honey complement warm cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg spice. PALATE Sweet plums and rich dried fruits balanced with charred pineapple, toasted oak spice and a hint of bonfire smoke. FINISH Sweet, rich and spicy.
