The grapes for Dreissigacker Chardonnay come from biodynamically managed vineyards around Bechtheim and Westhofen in Rheinhessen. The berries are selectively picked by hand and then gently pressed in the winery. As with all Dreissigacker wines, we attach great importance to careful processing of Chardonnay. The valuable harvested material is transported exclusively by falling pressure, i.e. with the help of gravity. We are convinced that we do not use pumps, as these would only put unnecessary strain on our wines. The preliminary clarification of the Dreissigacker wines is carried out exclusively through sedimentation. In addition, we do not use any treatment agents throughout the entire processing process.
