Hakushu 12 year old is the heart of the Hakushu brand. It is made with naturally processed water from the Japanese Southern Alps and fermented in a wooden washback inhabited by lactic acid bacteria from the forest. After distillation in direct-fire pot stills, it is put into small white oak casks and matured for 12 years or longer. The ideal choice for discerning whisky lovers who want to enjoy the roundness, complexity and hint of smokiness.
