The Hatozaki Pure Malt is an elegant vatting of malts that the Kaikyo Distillery has put together from single malts from several distilleries. The malts were not distilled at the distillery itself - for the occasion. However, the malts were matured in casks and blended on site. The single malts were stored in different casks: former sherry casks, ex-bourbon casks and casks made from Japanese Mizunara oak.
