The beer named after the city was first bottled in Pilsen in 1842. In Germany, the popularity of this type of brew remains unbroken to this day, even though a lean version of Pilsner is predominantly offered in this country. Lemke's Pilsner, on the other hand, is more closely modelled on the Bohemian original, which means a little more of everything. More body, more colour, more aroma. And, of course, brewed with Bohemian malt and flavoured with Saaz hops.
