Bottled from a single hand-picked cask at its natural strength, this traditional Jamaican pot still rum was distilled in 1996 and double-aged, as per Plantation Rum’s signature, 21 years in bourbon barrels in tropical climate and another 5 years in French oak Ferrand casks in the south-west of France. Resulting from a long fermentation, it displays a bold character and aromatic bouquet of ripe exotic fruits, cooked bananas, peach syrup and herbaceous notes of pine sap, lemongrass and mace. A venerable sipping rum with stunning concentration and complexity.
