The success story of the Haider distillery began in the mid-1990s with the Original Rye Whisky J.H., Austria's first whisky. In the tradition of an American rye, it is made from rye and malted barley. Special emphasis was placed on the individuality and regionality of the whisky. In addition to local raw materials, local oak is also used for storage. The result is an individual creation with a unique character.

The Original Rye Whisky J.H. shines in the glass with a bright ochre color. Fruity aromas such as orange, red apple and banana as well as toffee are convincing on the nose. It is soft, harmonious and balanced. It is juicy and fresh on the palate. Spicy, bready notes develop, as well as caramel, cumin and tropical fruit. Citrus peel, fresh herbs and cereals follow in the finish. Velvety yet spicy and a slight sweetness on the finish. Enjoy at room temperature.
