Das nordspanische Anbaugebiet Rioja ist die wohl berühmteste Rotweinappellation Spaniens. Der Familienbetrieb CVNE (sprich: Cune) wurde 1879 gegründet und besitzt Weinberge in den besten Lagen des Rioja Alta und Alavesa. Heute werden im Rioja Alta klassische Weine aus Tempranillo erzeugt, die mit Graciano, Mazuela und Viura abgerundet werden. Charakteristisch sind ihre Aromen von reifen Pflaumen und Beerenfrüchten sowie ihre kräftigen feinwürzigen Noten.

Bright cherry colour with some violet nuances. In the nose, red berries aromas remain over the oaky and balsamic notes from its ageing in wood. It shows an elegance in the mouth, yet very lively, with some spice back notes and a very balanced acidity.
