The winery, founded in 1843 by Dr Henry Lindeman in the Hunter Valley in southeastern Australia, has created a wine from Down Under that is appreciated by wine lovers all over the world: the Chardonnay. The Chardonnay, aged in French oak, first came on the market in 1985.
Today, the Bin 65 Chardonnay is vinified by Wayne Falkenberg. It is thanks to his expertise – and the reliable Australian climate – that the wine is of consistently high quality and characterised by an accessible, fruit-forward style. Compared to European Chardonnay wines, Lindeman's Bin 65 Chardonnay focuses less on minerality and more on fruity drinking pleasure.
