The grapes for the Alte Reben Mosel Prestige Riesling originate old classical Mittelmosel vineyards, partly with ungrafted vines (up to 100 years old) which grow on fine-splintered, but also stony weathered slate-soils. Manual picking, extremely low yields, selection of single berries, gentle pressing on a basket press, fermentation by only natural yeasts as well as a long storage "sur lie" guarantee the high quality of this wine.

Noble, balanced fruity aromas, delicate smell of raisins. Absolutely balanced, finest slate and citrus notes. Distinguished and elegant. On the palate very concentrated ripeness, smooth and creamy, very rich. Finest mineral structure, extremely longlasting finish. Great potential.
