Marqués de Riscal discovered and created in Rueda during the mid 70ties a new, young, fresh and fruity white wine with the indigenous Verdejogrape. With the biggest stock of estate-owned vines in the Denominación de Origen Rueda (225 hectares) other bodegas followed us and the appellation of the D.O Rueda was set up in 1980.

Bright, straw-yellow colour. The wine shows high aromatic intensity on the nose, with aromas of tropical fruit. Hints of fennel and fresh floral. Fresh yet smooth on the palate with a long, pleasant finish. Overall it can be enjoyed as a fresh and balanced wine.
