Colour: intense and brilliant red. Nose: dense and elegant, an aromatic complexity in which cherry notes harmoniously combine with fresh blackcurrant. Palate: the attack is full and lush, revealing attractively mature fruit underpinned by powerful tannins. The overall balance is remarkable. The slightly spicy finish, generous and pleasant is sustained by lingering flavours. Menu suggestions: rib steak with shallots, breast of veal, duck, lamb cutlets. Serving temperature: 18–19°C.
