Since 1930, Mouton Cadet is a love story between fine Bordeaux wines and the Rothschild family. In 1924, Baron Philippe de Rothschild took the helm of Château Mouton Rothschild and in 1930, the family created a younger brother for Mouton Rothschild using grapes grown on the same terroir. As the younger son (cadet) in his own family, he named the wine Mouton Cadet. In order to ensure constant quality, Mouton Cadet is sourced from over 400 partner winegrowers from the best region of Bordeaux.

ASPECT: Pale yellow with a slightly greenish tinge. NOSE: The nose is fresh, exploding out of theglass in a profusion of boxwood and broom, then going on to develop highlyrefined citrus fruit aromas and a touch of very fresh white blossom. PALATE: The attack is massive on fruits. On the mid-palateit reveals citrus notesand minerality which gives it great length.
