The Wieninger family exclusively cultivates vineyards in Austria's capital, Vienna. The Ried Kaasgraben in Sievering is one of them, located somewhat further away from the Nussberg and closer to the Vienna Woods, which results in much greater day-night temperature differences. This vineyard with its Grüner Veltliner vines is around 50 years old and the soil is characterized by very calcareous weathered sandstone.
