Ingredient-Guide
What is Retinol?
Retinol is a very commonly used antiaging ingredient—and with good reason. It is a highly effective form of vitamin A and has a positive effect on the appearance of the skin. Retinol can reduce wrinkles, it refines pores, and it makes the skin look younger and fresher.
What does "SPF" mean?
Sun protection factor (SPF) determines how much longer we can be exposed to the sun compared to without any sun protection. A care product with SPF prolongs our skin’s natural protection against UV rays. This means that, after applying a sunscreen product with SPF 20, we can stay in the sun twenty times longer than our skin type would allow without using any sunscreen.
What is Vitamin C?
Vitamin C is a powerful tool for rejuvenating our skin. It can promote the skin’s ability to regenerate and build collagen. It softens signs of aging in the face, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and gives the skin more radiance.
What do peptides support?
Peptides have a unique ability to communicate with proteins in our body. Peptides have a firming effect and moisturize the skin.
What does AHA Glycolic Acid consist of?
Glycolic acid is extracted from sugarcane and is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA). This active ingredient exfoliates the skin, making our complexion more radiant and smoother, as the glycolic acid stimulates cell regeneration and helps remove dead cells from the skin’s surface.
Important to know: if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), it is best to avoid salicylic products.
What are Ceramides?
Ceramides are a vital component of the skin’s protective barrier. They can help maintain the skin’s natural moisture content and protect it from environmental influences.
How does Hyaluronic Acid work?
Hyaluronic acid is suitable for all skin types and is a great antiaging booster. It makes the skin look plumper and firmer.
