A Touch of Mexico, Three Recipes: Tequila
Tequila is much more than a shot with salt and lemon. Bring a touch of Mexico into your home bar and serve your guests refreshing cocktails using this popular agave spirit. We have three great recipes for you!
Margarita
In this cocktail, the garnish not only adds visual appeal but also enhances the distinctive taste. Remember to always enjoy Margaritas with the classic salt rim.
- 5 cl tequila or mezcal
- 1 cl orange liqueur (triple sec)
- 2 cl lime juice
- 4 ice cubes
Moisten the rim of the glass with a cut lime and press it into the salt. Combine lime juice, tequila, orange liqueur, and ice cubes in a shaker and shake vigorously. Strain the drink into the glass using a bar strainer.

Tequila Sunrise
Rise and shine! This cocktail classic is guaranteed to bring summer vibes to your guests with its stunning color gradient and refreshing fruity taste.
- 4 cl tequila or mezcal
- 2 cl lemon juice
- 100 ml orange juice
- 2 cl grenadine
Pour grenadine into a glass with four ice cubes. Shake lemon juice, orange juice, and tequila vigorously in a shaker with ice. Strain the cocktail into the glass using a sieve. Garnish with orange slices.

El Diablo
A hell of a name with a heavenly taste. This classic tequila long drink is a fruity, tangy explosion of flavors – for truly special cocktail moments. Devilishly good and surprisingly mild.
- 5 cl tequila or mezcal
- 1.5 cl crème de cassis
- 1 cl fresh lime juice
- 5 cl ginger ale
Pour lime juice, tequila and crème de cassis with ice cubes into a long drink glass, and top up with ginger ale. Stir and garnish with a lime slice.
